MapleStory N, the chained version of the classic game “MapleStory” from Nexon’s Web3 subsidiary NEXPACE, is about to begin its testing phase.
“MapleStory” is a classic among many online game enthusiasts. The new “MapleStory N” is an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) that incorporates blockchain technology. In simple terms, “MapleStory N” turns items, characters, and other assets into NFTs, enhancing the concept of ownership and making economic interactions more enriching.
During the testing period, players will experience a limited supply reward system and a player-driven economic system, as stated in the official announcement. To participate in the testing of “MapleStory N,” players can register by completing a survey on the official website. Registration is open from July 1st to July 7th, and the list of selected testers will be announced on July 18th. The testing phase itself will take place from July 24th to August 2nd.
In addition, the company will also organize a post relay event on Discord and X. Users can download official images from Discord, add them to their X profile pictures, post them, tag @MaplestoryU, use the “#MapleStoryUniverse” and “#MSUtogether” tags, and state why they want to participate in the testing, and then upload the X post link to the designated Discord channel. Lucky participants will be selected by the company.
