ETHTaipei 2025 is Coming Soon!
The highly anticipated ETHTaipei 2025 will be grandly held from April 1 to 2 at the POPOP Taipei in Nangang, Taipei. This year’s event not only continues the in-depth technical agenda of previous years but also introduces for the first time a music stage, live painting, and traditional Taiwanese banquet-style dining. Participants will enjoy a unique Taiwanese experience that blends technology and culture.
New Ethereum Foundation Co-Executive Director to Share the Stage with Vitalik
The highlight panel of ETHTaipei 2025 will be hosted by the new co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, Hsiao-Wei Wang, a blockchain expert from Taiwan, alongside co-founder Vitalik Buterin and spokesperson Joseph Schweitzer. The panel will focus on technological breakthroughs and industry trends. Hsiao-Wei Wang stated, “The Taiwan and Asian communities will be at the core of my future work, and I look forward to strengthening Ethereum’s technological ecosystem in Asia through ETHTaipei.”
Other speakers include representatives from renowned international teams such as Uniswap (decentralized exchange), Polygon (Layer 2 scaling solution), WalletConnect (wallet connection protocol), ZKSync, Portus (known for its cute mascot), Zircuit, Teahouse, imToken, RareSkills, AppWorks, and Zomma, covering important areas in blockchain such as DeFi, scaling, and wallets, presenting the cutting-edge technology and practical experience to attendees.
Diverse Experiences Beyond Technology
In addition to an exciting agenda, ETHTaipei 2025 will offer a variety of activity experiences, allowing participants to interact and communicate in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere:
- Music Stage: The music stage, open daily from 11:00 to 17:00, will provide Open Jam sessions where participants can freely play instruments such as electronic drums, keyboards, guitars, and bass. From 12:00 to 14:00, a Home Band will provide live instrumental accompaniment, creating an interactive musical experience.
- Live Painting: World-renowned live painter and comic artist SHINN UCHIDA (Instagram: @mangalivepaint) will present a unique live painting performance, combining art and technology to enhance the visual and creative highlights of the event. SHINN UCHIDA made his debut in Shueisha’s “Ultra Jump,” and his viral short videos have attracted invitations from anime exhibitions in 13 countries including the USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
- Traditional Banquet Closing Party: The event will conclude with a traditional Taiwanese “banquet-style dining” at the Dadaocheng Temple. Participants will be seated in a banquet format, showcasing authentic Taiwanese cuisine and culture. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin may be on-site to celebrate with attendees.
