XueDAO CONNECT Hackathon, a blockchain hackathon exclusive to students, was organized by XueDAO with the mission to “Show the world that Taiwanese students CAN BUILD.” Over the past two months, XueDAO has actively held a series of themed lectures and technical workshops, promoting them across campuses throughout Taiwan. This initiative has successfully drawn many students into development, participating in Taiwan’s unprecedented student blockchain hackathon.
Moreover, the two-day CONNECT Hackathon Sprint Camp kicked off on June 28th and 29th at the Ark in Taipei. The most exciting part, Demo-day, is up next. XueDAO, together with student developers, is ready to showcase the explosive energy of Taiwanese student developers to the audience.

GLHF International Hackathon Student Scholarship Applications Now Open
The new initiative – GLHF – Global Learning Hackathon Fund, launched by blockchain and education figures Jacky Wang, Vivian Chen, Changwu Chen, Martinet Lee, and Ming-En Hsu, in collaboration with XueDAO, will fully subsidize students to participate in international hackathons and provide mentorship.
From the initial selection to subsequent professional training and coaching, and finally leading students to compete abroad, this program aims to give Taiwanese students more opportunities to interact and learn from international talents and to find inspiration during this journey.
Moreover, this program establishes a positive cycle where students who win at international hackathons will donate part of their winnings back to the Program to help the next generation of students carry on the spirit of giving back.
Registration for the program opened on the first day of the CONNECT Hackathon Sprint Camp on June 28th, with the first round of applications closing on July 9th. A physical workshop is scheduled for July 13th for the final selection, and the list of selected and alternate candidates will be announced on July 15th.
Selected students will participate in the ETH Tokyo Hackathon from August 23rd to 26th and the Dev Con ETH Global Hackathon (Bangkok) from November 15th to 17th. For detailed registration information, please refer to the official GLHF Twitter.
